Exactly. Iraq might have standards of living approaching pre war levels in about ten years, if, somebody else just doesn't take his place, and continue the holy war against the evil white invaders.
Brennan, do you even think before you post your crap?
"Standards of living approaching pre-war levels?"
By standards, do you mean, "Are Shiites and Kurds being killed at Saddam-Era levels?"
Iraq isn't paradise, but it's much better now than it ever was under Saddam for the Kurds and Shiites who were under a constant threat of being killed, raped, tortured or put in human sized paper shredders.
The current Sunni Arab terrorist cells are Saddam's displaced henchmen and their followers. They will be rooted out with American and Western firepower and Iraqi inteligence reports.
The Sunni butchers are losing, Al Zark is dead, his new successor will be dead soon, or he'll go into hiding just like the others.
The only thing the CBS, ABC-BS, and NBC-BS news stations care about is the American death toll because President Bush is running this war, not their God-Ruler exPresident Bill Clinton.
When Clinton was doing air raids in Yugoslavia, Somailia and elsewhere the Little Three Networks weren't bitching about American casualties and constantly bitching about the media.
Have you read websites from real Iraqis who see democracy taking hold in a new section of the world? Most likely you haven't, otherwise you wouldn't be the eternal fatalist that you are.
It took America over ten years from 1778's Declaration of Independence until our current Constitution in 1789.
While good things take time, surrendering is a fool's choice.
