Good stuff starting with Canadian movies:
Falling Angels: Set in the early sixties/late fifties a father tricks his children into believing that nuclear war has started and they go into their bomb shelter for 2 weeks, where they run out of water.
FUBAR A "documentary" on the headbanger culture in Canada.
Interesting movies that most of the critics hated:
The Salton Sea
Spun

Somewhat more obsure movie:
The tin drum (Die Blechtrommel), vased on the Nobel Prize winning book by Guenter Grass, and directed by Volker Schloendorff. Let me just say this movie has everything that one would expect from the post WWII dark german novel, incest, nazis, horse heads, pregnant women eating eels, midget sex, forplay with poprocks. Its a riot and used to be banned in Oklahoma!

I saw some movie called the Incident at Hanging Rock which I thought was very good, The Fly recently with jeff goldbloom which was also creepy as hell; I also agree Donnie Darko is a great movie. Excellent use of music and sound in that movie. I love the first shot of Jake Glyenfall (sp) on the road. I recently saw Mosquito Coast (I'm on a Peter Weir binge)...which has got to be strangest I've ever seen Harrison Ford. Also watching Six Feet Under, which is about as good as any good movie around now. Oh by the way, how about some of you people watch Firefly already.

I personally found Kill Bill volume two a mere showcase for Tarantino egotism. Bill, shut the fuck already and shoot her. God dammit.

Don't think I could stomach Vol II after having to see No I. It was like, what's the point? So many questions that were not answered (about the plot, and it drove me crazy.
Okay all of you geeks - PUG is not just a gaming term... It's also a breed of dog. And a type of handgun, so don't make fun of my dog.

Who gives a fuck about plot? It was entertaining. The story, such as it was, moved and kicked ass until Bill actually showed his face at the end.
