Phrase and Word Linkage

This is a word game I heard on the radio. It was done with names but it can be done with any words or phrases.
Each short phrase or celebrity's name has the same first word as the last word before it.
Each person adds their own word until no one can finish the link. Spelling doesn't have to be exactly the same. Brown and Browne are fine. Michael, Michelle, etc.
Put a number with your entry and the next person increases their number until no one has an answer.
Let's see how long this can go.
example:
1. George Michael --> 2. Michael Jackson --> 3. Jackson Brown
another example:
1. Statue of Liberty --> 2. GTA Liberty City --> 3. City University of New York --> 4. York, Pennsylvania --> 5. Penn Station
This requires a bit more thinking than the Word Associations thread.
