ABC having ad-free "The Path to 9-11" on Sunday ni

Postby insanehippie » Fri Sep 08, 2006 12:20 am

I'm going to watch and record the show.

The show is called "The Path to 9-11" on the ABC network. It starts out in January 1993 with the first World Trade Center car bombing under ex-Prez Bill Clinton.

The movie goes behind the scenes on what happened, and the many islamic terrorist attacks that happened to American interests, and our limp wristed responses to it.

Democrats activsts and the Democrat Party and ex-Clinton adminsistration are pissed off because it shows how badly they acted.

I'm going to record it and next week give my review and opinion of it.

Please record it if you can, it's going to be 5 to 6 hours long over two nights (Sunday and Monday 9/11/2006) with NO advertisements.

The problem is they may edit this. They released a statement saying that they haven't finished editing it for the broadcast. The concern is how much will they edit it to save face.

Rush Limbaugh along with Neal Boortz both said that only a minute out of the 5+ hour movie.

Rush said it was progress, since the entire Democrat party, Bill Clinton and others were threatening ABC with lawyers.

Neal Boortz wasn't happy that it was edited.

The only part that they say was edited was the scene when the Afgani Northern Alliance had Osama Bin Laden surrounded. One CIA agent was the author of "Imperial Hubris", and wasn't a friend of either Republicans or Democrats esp. Clinton and GW Bush).

The CIA agents called Sandy Berger (Bill Clinton's national security advisor, who stole documents in his pants at the National Archives related to 9-11) to see if they could kill Osama or capture him (this was a few years before September 11th 2001).

Sandy Burger wouldn't give an All Go signal and said if the CIA screwed up, the Clinton Administration wouldn't back them. Sandy Berger hung up the phone when the CIA agents repeatedly asked him for confirmation.

The "hanging up the phone" scene was edited out, but the gist of the scene was still there. It was all about passing the buck. Just as Bill Clinton blamed then Atty General Janet Reno on the massacre at Waco, Texas.

Yeah, it was about 5hours and 40 minutes I think.

It doesn't seem that long when you watch it.

This is coming from the man who couldn't stand the length of the first Lord of the Rings movie, Forrest Gump and other boring movies.

I think they could've easily stretched it out to seven hours over three nights and it would still be amazingly good.

I have it on Comcast DVR, I just have to figure out how to offload it to DVD
